Michelle's grandfather John Stanley Jennings (second from left) served in WWII. Registered in the Royal Artillery from Sept 7, 1941 until February 9, 1946. During this time he was a Gunner with the 8th Army under Field Marshall Montgomery and served in North Africa and Italy. He was involved in the Battle of Al Alamein.
