2004 - Fishing Trip to Kincardine

Joe setup a great trip for 12 guys to go up to Kincardine, Ontario for a few days of fishing on Lake Huron.  We left at 5 AM the first day and spent about 10 hours on the water.  Weather was rough (as several gents hanging over the gunwales will attest) but we managed to get out by 9:30 on the second day when it calmed a bit.  My boat was "Blue on Blue" who was captained by Dan and his first mate "Sailor."  Our motel is just above the marina and is pictured to the right of the lighthouse.  Each evening a bag-piper plays from the light-house.

Here's Joe's neighbor, Steve, enjoying the sunshine:

Here's Sailor and me waiting for the "Big One" to bite:

Here's me fighting "The Big One" which hit one of our lines:

After about 10 minutes of fighting, Captain Dan was able to scoop-up our prize-winning fish:

And here she is ... almost 13 pounds.  She won we the biggest fish for our party and the biggest fish caught that day for the Salmon Derby!  I won a rod and real which I gave to Joe for all that he did arranging the trip for everyone:

We had a total of 60 Fish for the trip which was a nice catch to bring home:

Captain Dan spent a while cleaning all of the fish with his new Cordless / Electric Fillet knife:
